Texas Wakeboard Camp Overview
Mile High Wakeboarding™ is conducts wakeboard camps
on Lake LBJ each spring and fall. (Lake LBJ
is in Kingsland Texas, near Austin). We call these
the warm-water wakeboard camps because when we were there
last, in late October of 2008, the water was still 78+ degrees.
As we type this description in March, the water temp is already
in the 70's.
MHW rents a private, waterfront residence with direct
access to a secluded part of the lake. We will have our 2009
Malibu VLX (and one of our former camp boats sold
to the owner of the house) onsite to conduct these wakeboard
camps. Both are sweet rides. We will also set up a trampoline
for land training exercises. Space will be limited at each
session so everyone can enjoy more riding.
Because
these camps are in the early and late season, we planned each
session to be 3 days in length, over weekends. Space permitting,
you have the option to extend your session as needed.
Cost
The base price for the 3-day camp is $599.00. Optional daily
additions are $100 per day plus a $40 trip fee to the airport
(if not arriving or leaving with the group).
Deposits
are $200 each and final payment will be due 30 days prior
to the camp session, or as space permits. Costs are all-inclusive
and include meals, lodging, fuel, equipment, instruction,
and transportation if you are arriving or leaving with the
group. If you are looking to get out on the town, please plan
ahead for extra outings and/or night activities outside of
the camp.

Travel
Austin Texas is the nearest airport.
Group airport pickups (if needed) will be on the evening prior
to the session start date. Group airport drop-offs (if needed)
will be on the evening of the last day of the session.
