Houseboat Trips And Adventures
  
Mile High Wakeboarding™ organizes several trips to
Lake Powell and other lakes throughout the year. THESE ARE AN ABSOLUTE BLAST!!! The houseboats
we have will comfortably sleep 15 or more but we limit
the trips to about 5 persons per wakeboard boat so everyone
can ride as much as they wish. These are not considered official
wakeboard camps but our instructors are always onsite and will help you as needed. We often set up floating sliders and trampolines so these are a great time to ride, learn, or just relax. While most want to ride until their arms fall off, some just work on their tan and relax all day - it's up to you.
Powell is the most often-planned houseboat trip. Our
normal plan is to leave from Bullfrog with enough gas to make Chevron
send us a thank you note, and find the smoothest water we
can. Our boat captain knows the lake better than just about
anyone (he used to be a captain on the lake) so he'll drive
the houseboat while everyone else rides and plays. We never announce it ahead of time, but from time to time, we may
have a couple of pro buddies with us on any given trip, so it's usually entertaining and worth bringing a camera. An average trip will consist of between 3-4 wakeboard boats and up to 2 houseboats, but we have had more as long as the demand, overall costs for everyone, and the quality of the riding stays within expectations.
The estimated shared costs of most trips is between $900-$1000 per person,
per week-long trip. This covers all of the expenses, including gas, food,
tasty beverages, and houseboat costs but does not cover travel costs to the destination.
Deposits
are usually $200 each and final payment will be due 30 days prior
to each trip.
